Great War Conference with Local Secondary Schools

On 13th November 2015 Loughborough Grammar School hosted our conference inviting senior students from local schools, addressing key controversial issues of the Great War:

  1. Did Britain have to enter World War I?
  2. Haig: Has history been fair?
  3. Was the Treaty of Versailles a failure?

With distinguished expert academics and historians to lead, we invited schools in the area to send student-delegates to what was be a fascinating and challenging experience.

The input from our experts was remarkable and the event was crowned by some insightful questioning from the young people who attended.
